Studies the interrelationship between geographic space, natural resources, history, and politics to understand state power. It analyzes Ecuador’s socioeconomic and political context within the global arena, facilitating an understanding of international relations and the country’s strategic positioning.

Leadership
Cross-disciplinary discipline focused on the development of management skills, behavioral models, and team management. It seeks to train proactive leaders with critical thinking and the ability to exert positive influence, integrating theory and practice for the effective management of projects and human talent.

Security
Covers multidisciplinary strategies and doctrines designed to protect sovereignty, territorial integrity, and critical infrastructure. It integrates national defense with operational security and risk management, ensuring the protection of the civilian population and the stability of the State.

Military Education and Defense
Specialized area in tactical and strategic training for the protection of sovereignty across its three dimensions. It manages educational processes focused on Land, Naval, and Air Defense, ensuring the technical and operational preparation of members of the Armed Forces.
