The Master’s Degree in Defense and Security with a major in Cyber Defense trains high-level professionals capable of analyzing, preventing, and responding to threats in cyberspace. The program integrates strategic national defense knowledge with advanced technical competencies in digital security, cryptography, forensics, and cyber incident management. Graduates will be prepared to lead cyber defense operations in military, government, and private sector environments, contributing to the country’s digital sovereignty.

To train leaders in cyber defence with solid strategic and technological knowledge, capable of protecting critical infrastructures and guaranteeing the digital security of the State, through an education of excellence based on applied research and institutional values.

To be the leading postgraduate program in Latin America in the training of cyber defense specialists, recognized for its academic rigor, technological innovation and contribution to national and international security.

To train fourth-level professionals highly qualified to lead, plan, and advise on the implementation of comprehensive multidimensional security strategies in the public and private spheres, through the application of advanced knowledge in strategic planning, multidimensional threat management, and military operations. This program will enable graduates to command operational and administrative units, efficiently manage logistical resources, contribute to the strategic thinking of the Armed Forces, and represent the institution before international and national organizations, promoting effective and ethical solutions to the security and defense challenges of the State, based on current regulations and the principles of international law.

They will possess advanced knowledge of international security dynamics, strategic planning, and the management of multidimensional and unconventional threats. They will be prepared to analyze geopolitical and military scenarios from a critical perspective and will be able to work within defense agencies, government institutions, international organizations, and private companies as consultants, directors, or advisors on security matters, making informed decisions based on multidimensional analyses.
