#ESPEU had the honor of receiving a delegation of cadets from the West Point Military Academy, who, together with officers from the “Eloy Alfaro” Military High School, participated in a day of academic and cultural exchange.

🗣The Crnl. Mauricio González, rector of the University of the Armed Forces ESPE, officially welcomed and highlighted the importance of strengthening international cooperation ties between military training institutions.

During their stay, the cadets toured various academic and research spaces, including the Biotechnology laboratories, the Center for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (CENCINAT), the Center for Military Research and Applications (CIAM) and the Andean Higher Agricultural Institute IASA I, where they learned about the scientific and technological advances promoted by the University, as well as strategic projects aimed at innovation. also interacting with teachers and researchers.

This meeting facilitated the exchange of knowledge and experiences, consolidating collaboration between military academies and reaffirming the institutional commitment to excellence, innovation and international projection.

The Department of Electronics of #ESPEU organized a course aimed at analyzing and applying innovative strategies in the use of Artificial Intelligence in university education.

A training space designed to reflect, simulate scenarios and strengthen decision-making in the face of current technological challenges in academia.

The Crnl. Mauricio González, rector of the University of the Armed Forces ESPE held a meeting today with the teaching staff, whose purpose was to share the vision and the main guidelines that will guide their management. A team of teachers and researchers from the Military Applications Research Center and the Department of Energy and Mechanical Sciences participates in a scientific mission to Antarctica with the project: “UV radiation monitoring in Antarctica: Nanofiber sensors manufactured in situ”, a research aimed at the development and validation of sensors capable of measuring ultraviolet radiation in extreme conditions. which contributes to the generation of high-impact scientific and technological knowledge.

The Crnl. Mauricio González, officially assumed the position of Rector, in a solemn act of delivery-reception of responsibilities, succeeding in the position Crnl. Víctor Emilio Villavicencio Álvarez, PhD., who culminates a management distinguished by his leadership, institutional commitment and contribution to academic excellence.

The #ESPEU reaffirms its commitment to the integral well-being of its university community through the signing of an inter-institutional cooperation agreement with the Army Officers’ Recreation Center (C.R.O.E.), aimed at strengthening spaces for recreation, integration and joint development.

This agreement was signed by Crnl. Mauricio González, rector of the University of the Armed Forces ESPE, and Crnl. SP Jimmy Espinosa, president of the board of directors of the C.R.O.E. 🤝📄

The agreement promotes opportunities for pre-professional internships, linkage, academic activities and exclusive benefits, contributing to the comprehensive training of our students and the strengthening of strategic alliances.

Thanks to the joint work between the University of the Armed Forces ESPE and the Social Security Institute of the Armed Forces Issfa Ecuador, around 50 older adults completed a stage full of learning, effort and dreams fulfilled in the University of the Elderly Program. 🧓🏻👵🏻

Every smile, every applause and every look reflected something invaluable, the certainty that it is never too late to learn, grow and start again.

This significant event was attended by General José Ignacio Fiallo Vásquez, Director General of ISSFA, and Colonel Mauricio González, Rector of the University of the Armed Forces ESPE, who reaffirmed the commitment of both institutions to the inclusion, well-being and dignity of our elderly.

The Office of the Vice-Rector for Research, Innovation and Technology Transfer of the #ESPEU organized the Institutional Workshop for the Strengthening of the Research, Innovation and Knowledge Transfer System, with the aim of analyzing the current state of research and defining strategic actions to promote its development.

This space made it possible to identify gaps, opportunities for improvement and strengthen the articulation between institutional actors to consolidate scientific and technological growth
